C4E Board

Jay Medenwaldt is the President, Treasurer, and primary writer/speaker at C4E.  He is a college psychology instructor with a B.S. in behavioral sciences, M.A. in psychological sciences, and has been accepted to begin working towards an M.Div in Theology and M.A. in Apologetics.  He has 10 years of experience studying and engaging in Christian apologetics (defending the faith).  His work in ministry includes writing for C4E, teaching classes and speaking on Christian apologetics, and has served as a small group leader in his church.  You can connect with Jay on LinkedIn by clicking here: www.linkedin.com/in/jaymedenwaldt


Lindsey Medenwaldt is the Secretary of C4E and has a B.A. in Mass Communication, a Master’s in Public Administration, and a Juris Doctor.  She has been a Christian for most of her life, and she was a missionary kid, living in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize for two years as a child.  She has served in her church as a youth leader and small group leader.  She also has served on the Board for another non-profit organization (the Junior League of Colorado Springs) as Vice President of Community Outreach, and she currently volunteers as a pro bono attorney for Mercy’s Gate, a non-profit serving indigents in Colorado Springs.


David Bauer has a B.S. In Multi-Media Studies and a B.S. In Public Relations.  He’s been a Christian for over 20 years and continues a rigorous pursuit of depth and understanding his belief in God.  In the recent past, he has been a worship leader over 3 years, worked in, and led youth ministries for over 6 years.  He has traveled to Thailand, Russia, South Korea, Hong Kong and China for missions work.  Currently, he owns and operates a growing marketing/advertising agency


Melissa Mikkelsen is a former Hollywood model who was radically transformed through the love of Jesus. She worked with Desperation Leadership Academy at New Life Church in Colorado Springs for three years, discipling and teaching young adults and leading people in the place of prayer. She is currently an Intercessory Missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City while preaching, building houses of prayer, and setting the captives free in America and the nations


Jason Reinhardt has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has been working for a Christian non-profit organization called Engineering Ministries International for about 12 years.  He has traveled to over 30 countries many with his work at EMI helping other Christian missionary organizations with technical design and then spends much of his work time in the US helping to manage the business side.  He is involved in his local church by leading small groups, serving on different service groups, and is a Licensed Minster at New Life Church


Jeremy Hughes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a B.A. in Psychology and is planning on working towards an M.Div. or Master’s in Biblical Studies. He spent three years with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Carlisle, England completing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and Basic Leadership School (BLS) during which he led and coordinated small groups, intercession, evangelism, and outreaches to S.E. Asia.  Prior to that, he was heavily involved at his youth group in Ohio as both a student and then an adult leader for many years. He’s had the privilege to share God’s Word to thousands all across the United States and numerous other countries around the world and witness the transforming power of God’s redeeming love, mercy, and grace.
